The votes are in, and the USA Mullet Championship has at least two champions.

Winners in the teen and children’s divisions were revealed on Sunday.

Emmitt Bailey of Menomonie, Wisconsin, won first place in the youngsters division, while Cayden Kershaw of Wausau, Wisconsin, won first place in the adolescent class.

Second and third place winners were also revealed.

In 2020, the USA Mullet Championship expanded from a local Michigan competition to a nationwide tournament including all states.

The championship is separated into numerous categories, including men’s, “femullets” (female mullets), teenagers, and children’s.

The men’s division mullet championship is now accepting entries. If more than 500 applications are received, an offline elimination phase will be held prior to the first round voting on Facebook, which will take place September 12-14. The top 100 mullets will then be voted on again on Facebook between Sept. 19-21, followed by a third and final round voting of the top 25 mullet entries on an unspecified date.

According to the championship website, the first prize winner will get the Mullet Mega Money Pot of $2,500, while the second and third prizes will be Mullet Champs Gift Sets.
